The national team of Kazakhstan lost two leaders before the matches with France and Ukraine pin up
Defender of the Kazakhstan national team Dmitry Shomko and the main goalkeeper of the national team Alexander Mokina will not help their national team in the matches against France and Ukraine as part of the selection for the 2022 World Cup, Vesti reports.kz.
Both players were called up to the national team, but Shomko left it due to an injury received at the club, and Mokina left for family reasons.
Mokina is the first number of the national team, and left-back Shomko is one of the team’s all-time record for games played among defensemen – 45 matches in which he scored two goals.
Kazakhstan will play against the Ukrainian national team in Kiev on March 31 in the third round of selection for the 2022 World Cup.
